The helicopter's optic seemed to offline and she dragged a hand over her face. "You are going to be the death of me, Fauxwing." Her voice rang with melodrama as her optic online again. She laughed a little, like the bot sitting in front of her, the genuine sound was equally as rare coming from the nervous wreck of a helicopter.
She moved her gaze over to Fauxwing's foot then at Fauxwing's face again then the pool of death in the other room. "I think it needs more than a tune up at this point." Carbyne was probably lucky he wasn't there or he would be getting a real talking to about the dangerous weapon.
Lifting up the kit to move down to Fauxwing's feet the medic noticed a pain in her shoulder, she would have to look at that later. "I dont care if it doesnt hurt, you aren't walking anywhere until I at least look at this. So here is fine, and if you want to move once I'm sure you can, then we can move."
She examined the warped melted metal, taking out supplies to clean it. "Doesnt look like it got too close to your struts, you are lucky you have such thick plating. This might sting, but knowing you, you either won't react, or you won't feel it." Carefully Medevac cleaned the chemicals and any other unwelcome substances away from the wound.
"It is a mild chemical burn so while it may not hurt too bad at the moment, you are going to want to clear your schedule or walking tomorrow." She got to work on wrapping her foot in a foil bandage, soldering it shut when she deemed it covered enough, "I also want you to be taking extra iron and carbon supplements until that bite missing of your foot is gone. And of course follow up on the injury in two weeks, though I will be on you myself at least once between then." She shook her head a moment before plopping down beside the seeker.
Only now did Medevac even look at her shoulder to assess what she pulled. Just a few cables and the joint. She would be feeling it tomorrow, but it wasn't anything serious.

An equally dramatic eye roll challenged Med with an unspoken "no I'm not" once the moment of peace had settled a sense of calm onto the two bots.
"Maybe you're right," she said with a yearning sigh, longing remembrance of the weapon- it's feel. "Maybe it does need more than a tune up." After staring wistfully at its remains for a time, she shook those thoughts free of her mind as Med got to work.
Her uninjured bent high to bring her knee to her chest, and Fauxwing used an elbow on it to rest her chin in hand. Looking bored, but patient for the repair process, she cooperated fully. As expected, showing no sign of a reaction to the pain.
"Of course. Whatever's best."
The medic knew she never needed permission in cases of serious harm. Even in cases such as these, however, Fauxwing was more than willing to oblige.
"It's a gift," she sighed melodramatically half-hearted at the mention of being lucky for thick plating. She seemed disingenuous, but also somewhat- playful- about it-.. That was hard to tell. Fauxwing was certainly never playful about anything. Med continued with her prognosis, and Fauxwing let her arm fall, settled her leg back down stretched out beside the other one. Leaning back, supported by her arms stretched behind her, resting on her palms with her head rolled back out of Med's view.
"Suits me fine," she said nonchalantly, "could stand being confined to desk work for a change." It would also afford Carbyne the time needed to get a second prototype put together, though she left that part out to Med.

"You could also stand to take a break once in a while." Medevac crossed her arms, "But I do know that you are busy, especially after the attack on Purple Obsidian." She looked directly at Fauxwing now, "But if you do run yourself into the ground, consider yourself medically overridden." she shook her head.
"Anyway, anything interesting happen as of late? Havent gotten to check in with you in a while, all these new recruits coming in that I need to examine, and thee chaos on your end with the whole process." She giggled shifting slightly to sit more comfortably.

"I think that's uncalled for. My energon intake and recharging is scheduled. I make every medical appointment unfailingly. Even today, I indulged myself in some high grade. <Not my taste. I prefer something more-.. refined. But it was- adequate.> You know I keep a routine of things."
"If I'm run into the ground, it won't be my doing. It will be my subordinates." A careless flick at stray dust clung onto her armor, purposefully avoiding catching Med's eye. Masking the intent of her words, more than happy to move on.
"Nothing unanticipated," she began to answer, "assets have shifted drastically since the attack, but they're within expected parameters. Some of the new transfers- 'recruits'- have shown promise. It remains to be seen whether they will continue to follow through, but the personnel transfer has been quite orderly thus far."

Medevac looked away a moment "You're right, I shouldnt have mentioned anything about running yourself into the ground." she was just concerned.
The helicopter listened intently as Fauxwing spoke about the current happenings, she wasnt too terribly out of the loop as she had already received and filed most of the new medical files, but that was about as much as she knew. "Well that sounds exciting." Medevac looked forward to meeting them.

"Exciting? Ha! No, I should hope not." The corners of her lips turned downward for just a moment as her thoughts wandered, but right back into it.
"Had to call in some favors to return Gnitav to his handler. His battle with the Pyrocons was telltale of his instability making him more trouble than he was worth."

The heli tilts her head "Interesting I had been reading Gnitav's files at least before now. I dont think I quite read the pyrocon's?" though she really had been a bit busy getting the new medic established and cleaning the bay. "Everything going on sounds so entertaining. I wish I had the courage to venture out and see what is happening more often," it was rather boring in the infirmary, but it was also safer, and it was where she was useful so that was a plus. "Though now that we have Epidemic, perhaps he can fill me in on what is going on out there. At the very least it will be nice to have a little more company." even with the nurses there the infirmary was quiet and lonely, especially after shifts ended. "Is there anything else going on around the base?"

Eyes flicked at mention of leaving the infirmary. "Better you didn't leave," Fauxwing opened her mouth to say, then stopped herself, looking away.
"Entertaining, sure," she added, still listening. Shifting up, she motioned wordlessly as though to ask 'can I stand up now?' while Med spoke. When the medic asked about other goings on in the base, she answered with silence and a more serious glare, already pushing off the ground to do so. She brushed the question aside.
"You won't find the Pyrocons' files to be of much use to you. I've forwarded them to the medical staff at the facility they're being transferred to. Finis Base will be a much better fit for them." She left out her disappointment from the results of their fight with Gnitav. They were good as a team, she was sure. But she needed outstanding individuals. Without their fifth member, the team had fallen flat against Gnitav.

Medevac looked confused a moment before registering the movement "Oh right," She moved to stand up as well "You are of course free to go now that this mishap is over, would you like me to contact someone to clean the mess up?" she gestured to the pile of what use to be a cannon in the next section of the room. The heli clicks her index claws together growing anxious again, now she looked anywhere but Fauxwing herself feeling guilty over wasting precious moments of the commander's time for unimportant talk.
"Its a shame that the Pyrocons are being transfered too, sad to see recruits already being sent off." she took a few steps and collected the medical kit nearby, taking her time in making sure all supplies were put in their proper places.

When Med asked whether to have disposal of the weapon's remnants seen to, the Decepticon commander gave it one final glance. Half melted in a puddle of its own unrecognizable toxic concoction, the weapon sat now-benign. She looked away. "Yes, Medevac. You may do so."
Straightening, Fauxwing dusted a shoulder off. "Their abilities will be put to far better use elsewhere."
"... XNA and Nexus are the ones that interest me, now." Thinking to herself, "Well, them, and the Metrotitan." "They're capable," she continued, "We'll see whether or not they have new contributions to surprise us with."

Immediately Medevac pinged a crew, messaging them the notice of a dangerous mess in the training rooms as she gazed at it.
Fauxwing's voice drew her gaze back to the commander's direction, though she wasnt looking at her, rather the floor next to her feet. "XNA and Nexus? I will have to read their files." She closed up the medkit in front of her, now staring at it intensely "I suppose it is my time to return to the medbay, isnt it?" she did her best to hide the sadness from her voice, was it sadness? She wasnt sure. She felt comfortable in the medbay, but it was quiet and almost always empty, Fauxwing did a good job keeping this system in order, really Medevac wondered why Fauxwing even recruited another medic, not that she would say anything. Perhaps Fauxwing saw trouble up ahead.

A hand wrung Fauxwing's wrist on the left side, where the test cannon had formerly been held. It wasn't injured, nor did it hurt. Yet still, Fauxwing hid it from Med, along with the hint of a frown that formed when she said it was time for her to return to her work station. It wasn't a frown for recognizing Med's sadness- that, Fauxwing could live with for as long as Med was alive and safe- no, it wasn't for Med's sadness, but truthfully, Fauxwing didn't know what it was for. Composing herself, as far as Med would tell, her commander had never been anything but the image of a self-sure Decepticon officer holding herself in highest esteem. Her response sounded natural, like anything else from the business-as-usual commander,
"Yes, you may return to the infirmary."
Yet, Fauxwing knew better. To her, her response almost sounded mechanical..
She hated it.

There was a moment of hesitation before she nodded. Looking down at the medical kit she wondered if perhaps carrying it in her alt mode would be easier, especially with her still slightly damaged shoulder. The issue was she wasnt sure she could really lift off with its weight in comparison to her size, even with the unique set of two rotors she had.
Only one way to find out.
She looked back up to Fauxwing, "It was nice talking again, even if the circumstances were not favorable." She hopped a few paces away from the kit before folding down into her alternate mode. It took a moment before she could lift off, but none the less she did make it off the ground. She positioned herself over the kit and lowered down. In a fashion similar to magnetizing ones feet to the hull of a ship she magnetized her landing skids to the medical kit. There was the slight sound of her motors working harder before she finally lifted off with the kit. "I hope to see you soon, Fauxwing. Perhaps if your scheduling clears up soon you can come down and visit. Of course only if you wanted to." she laughed nervously now just obviously stalling before she entered the hall and left the safety of Fauxwing's side.
